Hello and welcome to What’s Worth Drinking. My name is Tyler Worth and I’ll be your host. Let me start off by saying thank you. Thank you for checking out this site and thank you for taking time out of your day to see what I have to say. I mean it, that’s awesome.
For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m more than just a wine enthusiast, I’m completely devoted to the subject. This site is designed to catalog all of my discoveries and explorations in the world of wine (and occasionally beer and spirits.) I’m totally passionate about wine, and willing to go anywhere and try anything to understand more about it. I want to use this site to share my findings with you. I believe that every bottle tells a story. In every post, I check out the producer, do some research on the place and varietal, and tie it all together. I’m not a wine critic, I’m more like a narrator.
To me wine is all about discovery. I’m always on the look out for a chance to taste wines from unknown producers, varieties, and regions. I’m a value seeker, not easily swayed by expert ratings, and on a mission to find and study quality wines. On this site I will be sharing my tasting adventures through a vast array of wines from all different varieties, places, and price points with one goal in mind, to find the best, most unique, and most thought provoking wines for the price on the market today. I will be conducting tastings, visiting wine regions, and attending events, constantly keeping my ear to the ground and my nose to the glass.
I love getting to meet fellow wine lovers, so please remember to leave a comment after you read a post (even a quick sentence or smiley face counts), hit me up on Twitter, Facebook, Snooth, and Cellar Tracker, or drop me an email. After all, good wine is so much better with great friends.
Cheers.
Tyler
